Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Couple of weeks ago i got a camera and made another account where to post photos for which i don't have immediate use in painting or design-related matters. I also have a tumblr for this, but it's not much more different. I planned to don't mention it here and keep it separate for now, because i certainly don't fancy myself a photographer when i didn't even finish reading the camera's manual

and i'm pretty sure i won't be using it as more than a means to an end.
But when i logged in this evening i found that i got a DD for this

(for which i'm grateful, but i'd rather attribute it to a favorable conjuncture than the picture's merits), so i might as well post it here, as everybody who has seen it knows about this account now

Cameras are really useful for painters, you should get one. You can take your own reference photos and don't have to depend on other people's stock, you can use one instead of a scanner for traditional work, etc. And taking photos is also a good exercise in general, it makes you notice things and improve your sense for composition.

Oh, I know I need it! Last month I had the chance to use one of my friends' Nikon D3100. Even if it's not one of the best ones out there and the lenses were cheap, the results were not that bad.

Since I like to travel, I was thinking to buy a Pentax k30. It seems one of the most affordable Weather-sealed cameras on the market, but I'm still not sure if buying it or not.

I heard that lenses are slightly more expensive for Pentax, even though the bodies are very good. I always thought if i'll buy a camera it would be a Canon, but for various reasons i ended up with a Nikon. I can't give you any advice, though, i made my decision mostly by looking at sample photos rather than based on technical details.
